A debate supported by simultaneous interpretation with Karel De Gucht

On 12 April 2013, the representation of the European Commission in Belgium and the province of East Flanders organised a citizens’ dialogue in the Oude Vismijn in Ghent. The debate, on the future of the European Union, was supported by simultaneous interpretation.

A debate supported by simultaneous interpretation

European Commissioner Karel De Gucht and Jordi Vaquer Fanés, head of the Open Society Initiative for Europe, debated about the future of the European Union together with some 400 attendees.

Thanks to duvall providing the service to support the debate by simultaneous interpretation, everyone could listen to the speeches in their native language. This contributed significantly to the major success of the event.
